The JetSplash Haunted Tunnel: Good Clean Halloween Fun… for a Good Cause.

The JetSplash Haunted Tunnel:

Good Clean Halloween Fun… All for a Good Cause.

This October, JetSplash Car Wash will bring back some seasonal entertainment to the Lincoln community: the JetSplash Haunted Tunnel. Enter if you dare. Our drive-thru haunted car wash will leave families with a few screams, a few scared-laughs, some goodies… and a super clean car at the end.

Plus, on top of all that, you get something even better: a healthy dose of altruism. JetSplash is donating all proceeds from our Haunted Tunnel to 3 Lincoln non-profits. In the past 2 years, we’ve raised over $33,000 in donations. This year, we’re hoping to add to the momentum.

For a $15 donation, you’ll receive our $20 car wash, complete with a hand-prep, hand-dry, bug-free guarantee, underbody spray, rain repellent, hot wax, rim cleaner, tire shine, total body protectant, mud blasters… you know, the works.

Born in Lincoln and only in Lincoln, JetSplash loves this city. And we’re proud to support organizations dedicated to helping the people of this city who need it most.

MATT TALBOT KITCHEN & OUTREACH

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach’s vision? Defeating hunger and homelessness. Since 1992, they’ve served over 2.4 million meals to those in need—just one of many services and programs designed to comprehensively address the needs of the homeless and near homeless.

Through outreach, advocacy, education and the provision of food and shelter, Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach is restoring hope for Lincoln individuals and families. They’re a permanent fixture of Lincoln’s safety net. Maybe you’ve seen their message of bold hope on a large mural painted along the North 27th Street Bridge.

In an environment that encourages empowerment, nonviolence and mutual respect, Matt Talbot is Lincoln Nebraska’s beacon of hope. More on them here.

PEOPLE’S CITY MISSION

People’s City Mission has been providing food and shelter for the Lincoln community for over 100 years. They’re Lincoln’s primary homeless shelter, housing as many as 350 men, women and children on an average day.

They serve tens of thousands of people, and supply hundreds of thousands of meals. Their Family Shelter offers a safe, warm atmosphere that promotes recovery, self-sufficiency and independent living for homeless families. It also serves as a place of refuge for women experiencing some form of personal crisis.

In 2009, they opened the PCM Free Medical Clinic, providing free medical, dental, vision and behavioral healthcare to low-income Lincoln residents without medical insurance. They even offer programming like crafts, tutoring, field trips and more for school-aged children staying at the shelter.

It’s clear PCM is a force of good in Lincoln. Learn more here.

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS LINCOLN

Inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. It’s the belief in which Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln has operated under for over 50 years. As an affiliate of the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, BBBS Lincoln makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 7 through 16 in Lincoln, NE. They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

These strong, professionally supported one-to-one connections can change a child’s life for the better, forever. By partnering with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community, BBBS Lincoln helps kids achieve higher aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships.

They’re making a big impact on Lincoln’s youth. Learn more about them here.

Visit JetSplash’s Haunted Tunnel on October 26 & 27 and your $15 donation will go directly to these Lincoln non-profits.
