What Is Nano-Graphene?

There’s a word floating around the car wash community.

“Nano graphene”

Sounds scientific and complicated. It is. So here’s how we’d explain it to a 5-year old:

Nanographene makes cars shinier, glossier and smoother.

Not complicated enough? Here’s how we’d explain it to a chemistry professor:

Nanographene, comprising nanoscale sheets of sp²-bonded carbon atoms in a hexagonal lattice, brings unique properties like exceptional hardness, hydrophobicity, and chemical inertness, making it ideal for advanced protective coatings. In automotive ceramic coatings, nanographene can enhance scratch resistance, UV stability, and hydrophobicity due to its high tensile strength and surface energy characteristics. When incorporated into ceramic matrices, it can improve coating durability and provide an ultra-smooth, anti-static surface, which not only protects vehicle paint from environmental wear but also maintains a high-gloss finish by reducing particle adhesion.

Too complicated? Here’s how we’d explain it to a caveman:

Nanographene strong. Like mammoth. Smooth. Like mammoth tusk.

It’s a pretty impressive little product. So much so that we’ve decided to infuse it with our already-smooth-as-mammoth-tusk Jet Gloss Ceramic, making Jet Gloss now a three-step process:

  1. Surface Prep (soap falls from applicator bar and breaks up and oxidized chemicals on your cars exterior).

  2. Jet Gloss Application (ceramic falls from applicator bar and coats your cars windows and paint, creating a smooth shell.

  3. Nano Graphene Fortification (soap falls from applicator bar and layers atop the ceramic shell, fortifying the Jet Gloss.

It’s a much more robust product. And we kept it the same price for everybody. $5 for members. $6 for everybody else.

Get more you use it, the smoother and more fortified your car gets!
